Calendar Events

Volunteers meet at the Ridge Ropes Course in Lake Forest at 12:00 pm. DRESS WARMLY (Boots, long underwear, hat, gloves, scarf) eat a big breakfast and prepare to be outside for several hours. The teams course will end at 3:30pm. At that time we will head to North Shore Country Day and join up with parents for the Potluck. Potluck will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

 Transportation: Volunteers are expected to get to ropes course on their own.  If you are 16 or over and planning to drive yourself or if your parent is able to help us transport volunteers to NSCDS please contact us at amigoschicagonorth@gmail.com so that we will know how many cars to expect.

I-94 E toward CHICAGO
Take the IL-60/TOWN LINE RD exit. 0.3 miles
Turn LEFT onto IL-60/TOWNLINE RD. Continue to follow IL-60 E. 2.1 miles
Turn RIGHT onto S SKOKIE HWY/US-41 S. 1.7 miles
Turn RIGHT onto OLD ELM RD. 0.2 miles
Turn LEFT onto S RIDGE RD. 0.1 miles
Turn LEFT at stop sign (Northcroft Park Entrance)
Follow drive up to pavilion on the left hand side.
 
From the South
I-94 W toward MILWAUKEE
EDENS EXWY W becomes SKOKIE HWY/US-41 N.
Turn LEFT onto OLD ELM RD.  0.2 miles

Take the IL-22/HALF DAY RD exit.  0.2 miles
Turn RIGHT onto HALF DAY RD/IL-22.  2.0 miles
