Amigos Retreat! Meet your fellow volunteers, begin training and have fun!
Welcome AMIGOS volunteers!
You are about to begin the adventure of a lifetime and it all starts next Friday evening, December 2, at our first retreat. The retreat will take place at the Northminster Presbyterian Church located at 2515 Central Park Avenue in Evanston. Please arrive at 5pm. The retreat will end at 12:00 pm Saturday morning.

The retreat will take place at the Northminster Presbyterian Church located at 2515 Central Park Avenue in Evanston. Please arrive at 5pm. The retreat will end at 12:00 pm Saturday morning.
Please note: As discussed last week, you will need to bring your 100 names for the letter-writing campaign. More information is still coming regarding the fundraising activities so keep an eye out! Also, you must also bring any outstanding paperwork* or fees if you have not already done so.
Please bring the following items:
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Mattress pad or extra blanket (we will be sleeping on the floor)
- Toiletries
- Drinking cup
- A snack/drink to share
- Notebook
- Pen/pencil
- Any outstanding paperwork
We look forward to seeing you next Friday. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns--and it would be great to get a reply email confirming your attendance!!
Also, if you have any scheduling conflicts or will be late, you must
get in touch with me at the below number as I may not be able to check
email that afternoon.
*Veteran
volunteer Training Staff--this includes your Medical Release forms! We
have to have those back from you in order for you to stay at the church
overnight. P.S. Vets-be on the lookout for another email about your
tasks during the retreat :)
